Hi, I’m Liam Tree — and if you’re here, chances are you’re doing the same thing I’ve done for years: staying up a little too late reading about your dog’s health, trying to figure out the best way to help them feel good as they get older. I’ve shared my home with dogs since I was a kid, and over the last decade I’ve worked as a canine educator, spending my days (and a fair share of my nights) helping owners understand what their dogs actually need — not just what the packaging on a bag of food promises.
This site started from something pretty simple: I noticed that most of the information out there about senior dogs was either too clinical to actually use, or too vague to be helpful when your dog is right in front of you, slowing down, and you don’t know why. So I started writing down everything I’d learned firsthand — from managing my own dogs’ arthritis and picky eating, to the harder conversations about quality of life and letting go — and turned it into the kind of resource I wish I’d had years ago.
Everything here comes from a mix of real experience and a genuine love for these animals who give us so much for so little in return. I’m not here to sell you on the fanciest product or the trendiest diet — I’m here to help you make sense of what’s actually going on with your dog, and to help both of you enjoy these later years together, with a little less worry and a little more confidence. Thanks for stopping by — I hope something here makes your dog’s day (and yours) a bit easier.
